every now and then even the most positive of people can have some negative affect their lives. It doesn't mean that its warranted, it doesn't mean that its needed, it doesn't even mean that they have anything to do with it, sometimes as the saying goes.. shit happens.

As for me, I am doing my best to figure out my own life. I am so happy with my physical health right now, seems like everything is going right. Who knew one day I would be able to wake up and run 6 and a half miles.. Not me, never even dreamed of it.

Goals goals and more goals.. the key to success right?

Positivity breeds positivity so with that said I am headed to the jeans store to have a great day post yoga, weight training, and the best thing of the morning the phenomenal smoothie that i just housed. enjoy.

So,
I slept in my fantastic new lululemon purchases and they are amazing. I woke up super refreshed at 7am (no alarm). I then proceeded to get some coffee for mom and I at dunkin donuts, then I went to the barn and helped out. I just came up to change into riding attire and i wanted to download some songs for a mix I am in the process of making for my favorite cross country driver.. and I happened upon a song called "art isnt real" by deer tick. Now this song, as good as it is, has wayyy bigger meaning than just an accidental download. I heard it on a commercial about 3 years ago and it stuck in my head and I couldnt find it, i searched and searched and I couldnt find the song or the commercial again. Until today, 3 years later, I found the song. WHAT A GREAT DAY and its only 8:45.
Hell yea.

Yesterday Gawker posted pictures of Rep. Chris Lee, a married Republican congressman serving the 26th District of New York, posing topless on Craigslist.

They also posted email correspondence between Lee and a 34-year-old woman he had initially met after she'd put an ad in the "Women for Men" section of Craigslist. Three and a half hours after the post went live Lee, resigned.

Last night on Piers Morgan Maureen O'Connor, the Gawker blogger who broke the story (she's also responsible for breaking the incredibly disturbing baby yoga stories, and calling out Men's Health's Dave Zinczenko for putting his byline on other people's work) to explain how the story came about.

O'Connnor says it began when a 34 year old woman reached out to them saying she'd had "a crazy chance encounter with a congressman" and then began passing on the correspondence and the pictures.

The surprising thing, O'Connor notes, is that Lee resigned so quickly despite the fact he'd never met the woman in person: "We don't actually have evidence of him getting together with this woman or cheating on his wife."
